Sam Kressin
A.K.A. The World’s Deadliest Comic Illustrator it is Sam’s love of comic books and martial arts that lead him to develop the concept and idea for Worlds Deadliest. In additional to drawing and illustration Worlds Deadliest Sam Writes and Inks Strength Monsters a comic book about two Professional Wrestlers. Sam has practiced martial arts his entire life. He holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine and is a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist. Sam is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he is also an assistant Catch Wrestling coach with legendary Catch Wrestler Billy Robinson and an Advanced Trainer in the Crazy Monkey Defense Program. A 9th generation Californian Sam lives in San Diego with his wife and three kids. In addition to penciling World’s Deadliest, Sam coaches Martial Arts, treats patients with Acupuncture and writes articles for his martial arts and fitness web site; http://www.embodiedstrength.com
Jesse Grillo
Jesse Grillo has written numerous Comic Books and Film Scripts. Jesse is the founder of Bleeding Ink Productions a company that has produced some of the best independently published comic books and graphic novels on the market. A few of his many titles include; The Patriot, The Trip, War Zone, Valley of the Cougars, Chapel, Demigods and several others. You can check out Jesse’s comics and pick up copies here. Josef Rubinstein
Josef “Joe” Rubinstein is considered a legendary comic book inker, portrait painter, illustrator and artist. Beginning his career in comic books in the early 70s as an assistant to Neil Adams Joe would go on to work with numerous comic book greats such as Dick Giordano, Jim Starlin and more. Since that time Joe has worked for all the major comic book publishers (Marvel and DC) inking a who’s, who of comic book artists including legends such as Joe Kubert, Frank Miller, Jim Lee, Gil Kane, John Byrne and so many more. Joe is probably best known for having inked the entire Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe a job that spanned 20 years and gave him the world record for inking more artists than anyone in the industry. Joe has also received numerous awards for his portraits and paintings.
